Hi, I’m Mara- a lifelong equestrian, dressage rider, and proud horse and dog mom based in Michigan. I am currently working to represent Palestine in international dressage competition. For me, this mission is not just about sport- it’s about visibility, resilience, and honoring the lives affected by conflict. Every ride is a chance to bring awareness to those whose stories are too often silenced.

I created Dressage Discussions to ask thoughtful questions and share science-based insights about horse care, training ethics, and the ups and downs of riding with purpose.
